Ellie Rose is a musician, songwriter, and entrepreneur from Taranaki, now calling Pōneke home. Ellie has always felt a deep connection to her whakapapa, ki a Tūhoe me Ngāpuhi. Since six years old, Ellie has been tuned into the issues of sexual assault. She played a significant role in raising awareness during the Wellington musicians’ scandal in 2020. With a heart full of justice and a fierce desire to make a difference, Ellie is all about advocating for the people and ideas in need of a voice. She is tired of observing the vulnerable being abused by those who lack the courage to love, and tries her best to empower individuals in their embrace of true happiness.
